Super Saturday is Back!
Aaron NewmanAaron Newman brings an afternoon of entertainment that won't be forgotten!!

This is a first for Tidal -- Aaron started performing in 1995 and by 2001, had enough business with music he could quit his day job!!
Aaron has played all over Oklahoma and Texas while at the same time doing regular weekly shows for many corporate customers such as Red Lobster, Buffalo Wild Wings, Fox and Hound and many local sports bars.

While working with many national acts such as Deep Blue Something (Breakfast at Tiffany's), Dr. Hook, Vanilla Ice, and the Steve Miller Band, he worked in Sterling Sound Studios in New York City -- a studio known for working with bands such as Cold Play and the Dave Matthews Band.

This very talented young man credits the varied influences of the Beatles, The Doors, Cold Play, Radio Head, and the Dave Matthews Band with his unique sound.

Free wine tastings, free parking, free cheese and wine pairings and free music!! All at Tidal School from 2 til 4 pm. For more information, call 866-258-1903

6th Annual Walk in the Clouds Harvest Brunch
September 11th / 9am to Noon

Harvest Brunch
Once again the world famous (okay, maybe not world but certainly Oklahoma famous) Tidal School Harvest Brunch will be September 11th from 9 am till noon.

Summer is on the wane, the days are not as long nor as hot and the mornings bring a crisp feeling of the changing season. Our grape vines are loaded with luscious, dark purple grapes bursting with flavor and brix (sugar content). And, they are as close to perfect as you will see in Oklahoma --- and perfect for harvesting! Now it's time to pick those little purple jewels and turn them into Fine Tidal School Estate Wine-- and you are invited to participate in this most memorable event.

We will gather at 9 am for instructions on harvesting and then the fun begins!! We will harvest for approximately an hour and then break to enjoy a scrumptious brunch of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, assorted fruits, and, back by popular demand, those spectacular waffles that can only be found at the Tidal School Harvest Brunch! Try them with whipped topping, a bit of syrup, powdered sugar, loads of strawberries or enjoy them plain-- you simply cannot go wrong. Freshly brewed coffee, orange juice and water will be available.

Due to NUMEROUS REQUESTS AGAIN this year, we will have a crushing pool for those who want the "Lucy and Ethel" experience of crushing grapes (purple feet anyone?). We will once again offer our Tidal School tee shirts for sale for those who want to step out of the crushing pool into infamy---with your very own footprints imprinted forever with the grape juice from your harvest and stomp!! (It doesn't wash out)

Bring your family and YOUR CAMERA--this is a wonderful opportunity to get a perfect Christmas picture!!

And, if all of this isn't enough fun, we will have The Thunderbirds performing live; this is teh band everyone loves with their '60's and '70's music. Relax after the harvest with a glass of wine and enjoy one of Oklahoma's best known bands.

We will also have Larry Banks, our September Oklahoma artist, renown for his work with sticks (right out of the yard) and ink works here to visit and demonstrate his work. You must see this to believe it!!

You must sign up in advance for this event -- space is limited. Call to enjoy one of the most memorable harvests ever! Tickets are only $19.95 for adults and $9.95 for children 10 and under. For more information call 866-258-1903

 - Also happening October 9th at Tidal School -

Meet The Artist Linda Rous!
Our October artist, Linda Rous, will be here to meet the public. Also known as Tiger Woman, Linda claims her heritage from her maternal grandmother (both grandparents were of Indian heritage).

The Mohawk were the most feared warriors during times of war. At their peak of population in America, they spanned from New York into the Ohio Valley. Although an artist known for her paintings of Indian wildlife, Linda has a new venture with her dolls. These dolls, made entirely by hand with a knife, are each unique and one of a kind. The "no face" dolls carry a message -- no face is to say that what is in your heart is far more important than what makes up your physical appearance.

Linda has pieces in permanent collection at the Marland Mansion, Oklahoma Heritage Hall of Fame as well as many national galleries . She has been featured in numerous national and state publications and continues to travel the country carrying her message of peace, natural healing, new beginnings and happiness with her work. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Linda and view her collection of personal works!

Enjoy free concert, meet a talented artist and don't forget the free wine tastings and tours. All of this makes a great way to spend a Saturday -- and the best part, admission is FREE!. For information, call 866-258-1903.
